Apprenticeships are government funded, and allow student to earn whilst learning. An apprenticeship in Hairdressing enables students to gain practical and transferable skills to help develop their career.
There are currently two hairdressing apprenticeships available:1. The basic course in which you will achieve a Level 2 NVQ - Click here to find out more
2. An Advanced course where you will achieve a Level 3 NVQ - Click here to find out more
For both courses you will need to secure a salon placement for 4 days a week. On your 5th day you will attend one of our training centres (in either Hove or Worthing - whichever is closest to your home). You will also receive ongoing training from your salon throughout your course. An Apprenticeship wage is no less than £95 per week. Your salon will employ and support you whilst you undertake your training.
At the start of your training you will be appointed a lookfantastic training advisor, who will work with your employer to ensure your training is well planned. Your training advisor will also follow your progression and visit you at your salon to coordinate your training; both in salon and at the lookfantastic training centre. They will review and set you targets, so you are maximising your full potential.
